Adding email address link to footer

Hi, I am using the free theme called "Supply."  The footer has a section called "GET IN TOUCH" where I can put the phone number, mailing address and email for my company.  I would like to make the email address into a link so that a user can click on it rather than copy and paste it.  Right now, I am only finding a way to add rich text to the footer.  Is there some way for me to add an html link for the customer service email address?

Create the link as you would any other link.  But when you select the page, product, etc.  Do 

mailto:email@domain.com

You will see a little popup and you you can click on it.  Like So:

The link works, but in the footer it says "mailto:" before the email address!  Is there a way to get rid of that!

Might just be a tweak needed to it.  Can you give my your .myshopify.com address and I will send you an invite to do a collab account to take a look?  Will only need access to your navigation.

I also added this line to the link and it workson the phone but not in the computer. can you please help me?
