Adding "Sections" to Collection Pages

Im new to Shopify and wondering if theres a way to "add sections" (like you do when editing the theme homepage) on the pages for individual collections? The client has smaller brands within a larger one, so this is a neccesity. I have the homepage built and basically want to use that, with a few minor changes.

Im using the Debut theme.

I'm also looking for a similar solution. To add an image section to the collection page and change the placement of the sections.
Let me know if you've found any solution.

You could adapt the technique described here to collections: https://help.outofthesandbox.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013529248-How-to-create-additional-unique-prod...

They key thing to understand is that all sections you add to a collection template will be the same on all collections using that template. So if you need different sections or differently configured sections on each collection page, you'll need to create a separate collection template for each one and then configure each collection page in the theme customizer separately. So if you have a lot of collections this will quickly become quite unwieldy.

I've a banner section on my collection page, which currently goes to the
bottom of the collection page.
I want to re arrange the section and bring it to the top. There is no way
to drag it.
How do I do it?

Dragging sections is only possible on the homepage, so this would need to be changed in the code of the respective theme section file.

Not true. If you put the {{ content_for_index }} into the collection.liquid, you can add sections and you can drag them to reorder, just like you would on the homepage.

This works great. Only problem is that, changes made in collection page are effecting the home page. Any way around that?
