Adding two new elements to my Simple Theme's header.

I would like to add two elements "About Us" & "Requests" in the header of my site between the login/log out and the shopping cart.

I would like these buttons to go to the relevant pages that would be created for the specific element.

I played around in my headers.liquid trying to place my new elements but could not get it right. this is my code below:

 <div class="grid__item medium-up--one-quarter medium-up--push-one-half">
<span class="small--hide">
<text>About Us</text>
</span>
</div>

<div class="grid__item medium-up--one-fifth medium-up--push-one-quarter">
<span class="small--hide">
<text>FAQ</text>
</span>
</div>

I would like some help with placing these items as they are floating in relation to the other elements in the header. The two elements are also overlapping. Help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
