CSS question for Shopify Theme - Venture

Hi -- hoping you all can help. I have a pretty simple issue so I'm hoping it's a simple fix.

Below is the new page I am adding to my site so you can see my issue. I have two columns. With one column being bigger than the other, it creates an unwanted padding gap on the top of the first column. How can I work on each column without effecting the margins/padding of the other? I have basic html / css knowledge. Not sure if I need to go to the developer side of Shopify or if I can do a simple css / html addition in the text box html viewer. Seems like the only way to make it look good is if each column has the same amount of content, which is not realistic. Any suggestions are welcome. Just trying to make my columns not look so wonky. Thanks!
