Change Shopping cart icon into a custom png image?

Hey all, I'm looking to find a way to change the shopping cart icon in the top right corner into a custom png image I made ( I'm running the Narrative theme) any pointers on how I may go about doing this?.. I've only dabbled in writing code so I'm no expert at all..

In header.liquid file, replace marked likes with <img src="" alt="cart" />
upload your icon in files and put that link to src
