Change the background and font color for debut sections

Hi! I want to change the background  color and font color for some of the sections on the debut homepage. Site: resmrkt.com - section titled "explore the market". I want the font to be white and the background to be green ( I have a specific hex code). Is this possible?

1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2. Asset->/theme.scss.liquid->paste below code at the bottom of the file.
