Change the term tax to vat

Is it possible to change the text "tax" to "VAT".

For example, the checkout says "Including £x.00 in taxes"

As we are in the UK, we need this to say VAT, not taxes.

I have tried following the online tutorials to do this, but the options in the tutorial are not available to me.

I don't know if this tutorial is outdated or what, but I don't have options for Tax rates and Base taxes. I have Tax regions and tax calculations, which neither allow you to change or rename your tax.

You can change the text for this in your Language settings. Go to Theme > Actions > Edit Languages and then search for the text you want to change. The specific one you mention is under 'Products' but you may also want to change the wording in the 'Cart' section as well.

Hi, This is really helpful as we were wondering this too.  Quick question, 'taxes' are still appearing on the order summary to the customer, do you know how I update this to VAT also?

Off the top of my head I don’t know but if you do a search on ‘taxes’ in your language settings and then change anything that says ‘taxes’ to ‘VAT’, I’d imagine that would do it.

I'm facing the same problem, the word "Taxes" in the Order Summary in the checkout doesn't seem to be available to edit/translate.

Any ideas?
