Change to brooklyn theme

I'm trying to change the timer of the brooklyn theme slideshow - it has options for 3 seconds or 5 seconds but id like to make it a bit faster maybe 1 or 2 seconds, but I'm finding it tricky to locate the code to change it. Also I would like to remove the slideshow timer (which sits at the bottom right) of the slideshow which basiclly allows people on the site to change the slideshow picture and pause the slideshow, i'd just like the slideshow to show automatically without any customisation if that makes sense. I just want it to run without the timer or pasue button visable

The above works for the slider timer. But coming to the second question pointed above. Is it possible to get rid of the play/pause button so that the slides cant be manually stopped by the visitor?

are you check you're on the theme customization option?

Yes Ketan, On the theme customization page only, I am not able to see any option where i can disable the play/pause button for the slideshow. Is there a option in customization page only or will I have to run a code?
