i noticed that the "shop now" button has gone from the Desktop version but still appears on the Mobile version.

can you please take it off from the Mobile version too?

1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2. Asset->/theme.css.liquid->paste below code at the bottom of the file.
