Hi

I am very close to finishing my store and a final change i have been trying to make is the button in my stores cart 'continue shopping'. I want it to link to /pages/shops rather than collections/all-products.

I can see the code when I inspect the button elements like so:

But i cannot for the life of me workout how to change it. When i try and find that bit of code in theme.scss or timber.scss or anywhere else I cant find it. When I change try to edit the HTML through the inspect window it doesnt save the changes.

I have no coding experience so im sorry if this is very stupid to most of you.

Thanks so much

What's your theme called?

Try looking in the templates/cart.liquid if not check another file that has cart in its name.

cheers

Hi

I'm using Minimal theme and my URL is https://local-hero-london.myshopify.com/

Thank you - I found part of it in cart/template.liquid

Although changing the code seems to have no effect!

I've tried the following - clicking 'edit attribute' within the inspect elements window. This works for the first click out of this page but then it doesnt save! How do i make it save?

my temporary solution has been to just entirely delete the button by deleting:

{% comment %}
Continue shopping button
{% endcomment %}
<a class="btn btn--secondary" href="{{ routes.all_products_collection_url }}">{{ 'cart.general.continue_shopping' | t }}</a>

if anyone can advise on how to put it back and reroute it it would be greatly appreciated

This is an accepted solution.

Ok, now that you found the code just change what's inside of href="" with /pages/shops

Like so:

{% comment %}
Continue shopping button
{% endcomment %}
<a class="btn btn--secondary" href="/pages/shops">{{ 'cart.general.continue_shopping' | t }}</a>

If this helps you please accept my answer and give a thumbs up! Thank you
