I have been looking for answers for a while and have been unable to find any. I have a page that shows a custom product and the page is customized using query parameters. I want to pass these parameters through to the og:image tag as I have an image that can be autogenerated using the query parameters in the URL, so that the user can see a custom image when shared via social media.
I feel like the functionality exists because the way the product pages are rendered differently for different variants. I am open to more advanced suggestions outside of just modifying the liquid template. Any thoughts are welcome.
For example would it be unadvisable to create cart attributes on the page the user defines the customization, and then delete those attributes using the API on the following page that displays their choices?
