Many of our customers key in the wrong email. We get around 100 orders a day and at least 2/3 are wrong. Surprising but true.
We are a services business so a customer entering an incorrect email is a big problem.
Many websites have 2 email fields where a customer must retype their email correctly which I'm guessing clears out a LOT of these problems.
Or there surely must be some functionality with all the tech in the world today for the field to run a quick check to see if the email is valid?
How do others deal with this issue - I don't believe we can be the only ones.
Can we make phone number mandatory as well as email to give us a fallback of phone number?
