Customizing Footer Layout

Hello, I am using a Grid Warm Theme (from PixelUnion). I'm trying to edit the layout of my upper-footer.

Currently it shares the same div. Equally 25% each with 4 items in the upper footer.

I would like to separate the Newsletter item in 100% in the top most part of the upper footer, followed by the Social media icon list in horizontal layout under the Newsletter, and at the bottom the Menu Link Lists. Is this possible? Do I have to add another div. or it can be fixed within theme.css, please give me an advice :D. Or if you would like an access to help edit code, please tell me. Thank you very much.

Yes, It's possible and you are right you have to write separate (div) html for it and then adjust CSS accordingly.

Thank you! I've fixed from your advice. It's a bit tricky at the Sign Up form part so I kinda give up and only go for the social media icon instead.
