Debut Theme- Change font on "rich text" section

Is there a way to change the font JUST in the "rich text" sections of my homepage? Also, is there a way to make the background in those sections a color and then I can make the font white so they stand out a bit? Thanks

That is the "rich text" section. I'd like to be able to make the background on that section darker and then change the font to more of a script.
