Debut theme - problems creating "sub-categories" on "...collections/all" page

Hey

I have a problem in the Debut theme. I really want to create a collections page where all product are displayed at once, but each with sub-headers, indicating the category of the different products (ex: Chairs, Dining Chairs, Tables etc.)

I do not want the designated "list collection" - type of display, with boxes, that you'll have to click in order to then go to another page where you'll see an overview.

I have attached the kind of overview that I would like (would-like.jpg). No matter how much I have tweeked my setting, and the edit code settings. I have also tried creating another menu, but still I have not obtained any results.  Do I need to change theme? There must be a way.

Hey @Qualitycheck

I stumbled upon this before, but it looked as if it applied to a visible menu in the header. What I strive to archieve is not a menu, but a grid layout with subtle sub-headers as dividers, also the client that I am working for should be able to add and remove products from the page.

currently I am options found on these threads, that I am exploring:

https://community.shopify.com/c/Shopify-Design/Exceeded-maximum-number-of-unique-handles-for-all-pro...

https://github.com/Shopify/liquid/issues/1007

as well as some more advanced coding: https://freakdesign.com.au/blogs/news/exceeded-maximum-number-of-unique-handles-for-all_products

I've also heard that i should be possible to "use a collection instead as it can pull 50 products", so what ever that means I am also going to explore.

If you have any good inputs, that you think might work please let me know

Kind regards

Did you find a way to do this?  I also have product lines where I need it to redirect  to a sub collection.
