Decrease homepage section spacing Brooklyn theme

Can someone help me with the homepage on the Brooklyn theme?

I want to decrease the space above the "Journal" section and the "Customer Testimonials" section.

Please add the following code at the bottom of your assets/theme.scss.liquid file.
