Disable zoom for the Ella-1-0-0-sections-ready theme?

I have read as much as I could about disabling zoom. I have the Ella-1-0-0-sections-ready theme and it looks like I need to do it by changing code, but I can't find most of the codes I am seeing in other posts with other themes. The closest I got was following instructions to go under the file Assets/ jquery.elevateZoom.js and change zoomEnable to false, but my code was a bit different: Assets/ jquery.elevateZoom-3.0.8.min.js and the zoomEnable is already set to false.  Can anyone tell me how to turn my photo zoom off? It is blocking the pinterest button and overall gets in the way. Thanks!
