Hello,

I have created an additional field on the Account register form. See here:

http://docs.shopify.com/manual/configuration/store-customization/communicating-with-customers/accoun....

This is my code:

<div id="title" class="clearfix large_form">
        <label for="title">Title</label>
    <select name="customer[note][title]" id="title">
        <option>Mr</option>
        <option>Ms</option>
        <option>Mrs</option>
        <option>Prof</option>
        <option>Sir</option>
        <option>Dr</option>
        <option>Lord</option>
        <option>Rev</option>
    </select>
    </div>

The title comes nice in the Shopify backend.

But I also want to show this at the frontend on the website.

This is the code I have:

     Hello {{customer[note][title]}} <a href="/account/">{{customer.last_name }}</a><br/>

But that doesn't work.

Anyone ideas?

Greetings,

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

Customer notes are currently only available for internal use, so they aren't able to be displayed on the storefront.

has this been updated yet?

I, too, have customer notes that I'd like to display on the front end to customers

AND let them edit it!!

imagine that!

@piroc_media  I had this exact same issue for a while and couldn't find a way around it. Ended up creating an app to solve it, you should check it out. You can retrieve whatever information you collected on registration and let customers edit it or do whatever else you want with it! Here's the link: https://apps.shopify.com/customer-information
