Edit headline font size on homepage slider in Brooklyn theme

I am using the Brooklyn theme and I'm just about ready to remove the password and let customers begin purchasing from the store. However, I am unable to figure out how to adjust the size of the text on the slider on the homepage.

Where in the code will do I find the correct snippet I need to edit in order to adjust the size of the headline font on the homepage slider in the Brooklyn theme?

Thank you!

Hey AK,

David here, Shopify Guru!

Great to hear that you are almost ready to launch your store!

The Hero Slider font size can be easily edited from within your theme.scss.liquid file in the Assets folder. If you add this code to the bottom of the file:

.hero__slide {
  .hero__title {
    font-size: em(50px);
  }

  .hero__subtitle {
    font-size: em(15px);
  }

}

Then you can simpy change the pixel size here of the title/subtitle and click save. You can play around with the sizes until you get the one you are happy with.

Hope that helps, feel free to drop us a line at support@shopify.com if you have any other questions :)
