Edit letter spacing in Brooklyn theme

Hi!

I am trying to edit the letter spacing of my body text/rich text on my website e.g. the text on my 'pages', and the rich text on my homepage.

I have managed to edit the letter spacing of most of my website text (e.g. headings) using the two codes below:

a { letter-spacing: 1.5px; }

and

header { letter-spacing: 2px; }

But these codes have not changed the body text on my website.

Any suggestion on how to change thhe letter spacing for main menu navigation links? I was able to change the body text, but it did not change these links
