Feature Collection - Simple Theme - HELP!

Is there any way to feature some of my collections on the home page.  According to this link, this method wont work with the Simple theme.  https://docs.shopify.com/support/your-store/collections/featuring-collections-using-link-lists#featu...

Is there any work around? Basically, I want my home page to show 2-3 collections.

This isn't possible on this theme. This theme uses navigation menus in the main menu, which is on the side in your theme, to show collections- https://docs.shopify.com/manual/your-website/navigation/add-link-to-main-menu

Righ now you are able to show the images from just one collection on the homepage.

The following free themes do come with featured collections on home page using collection images which you are welcome to check out!

You can limit collections from go to Customize theme section, select  theme Home page - featured collections

When I choose collections for Home Page Featured Collections, the selected collections do not show up on our website.  Help Please!  Using Minimal Theme.

I have the same problem with Simple theme. I choose the featured collection for the home page but it doesn't appear in preview. Help please?!!
