Get rid of decimals from the price but keep comma for thousands seperator

Hello all,

I am trying to delete decimals from the prices shown on my website. As I looked up here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/currency-formatting

I entered {{ amount_no_decimals }} to show it like 1,135 however what I get is 1.135. 

so the price is initially like this 

 but when I try to get rid of the decimals by entering {{ amount_no_decimals }} at the store currency settings, what I get it 

But I am not happy with it, as I get a dot for thousands separator rather than a comma.

Why is that happening? Can you help me fix this, please? I use DEBUT theme.
