Getting Error message " zip does not contain a valid theme: missing template "layout/theme.liquid"

I just brought an shopify theme from https://themeforest.net. When uploading the Zip Theme File into shopify i keep getting this error message 

 " zip does not contain a valid theme: missing template "layout/theme.liquid"

I google and learned that this is a coding issue; Can anyone help or guide me in the right direction to fix this ?

can you please confirm that zip folder contains folders like attached image and in layout folder there is theme.liquid?

Hello,

Seems theme missing main file theme.liquid
To confirm unzip theme in your computer and check under layout folder for file theme.liquid.
If its not available ( 99% chances it missing ) contact with theme author.

MY Theme Folder when unzipped Looks nothing like yours. I reached out to the author for supported but they have not responded.

It seems that the Layout folder is missing from the zipe file. 

When unzipped this is what the folders look like

Can you please unzip vanisa home1.zip? May be they providing different templates

Will you please unzip folder under TD Logo
themeforest..ify-theme.zip (may be spell mistake)

I unzipped Vanisa home1 and it shows the layout folder now.

this is right one upload its zip and it will works.

Should i try uploading Only the zile files under the souce folder ? If i wanted to chose a different layout per page how should i go about uploading the zip folders ?
