Good afternoon I have tried to open google analytics in my new store but when I copy in the box title:   Google analytics says: Analytics snippet does not look valid (UA-xxxx-x)  So I do not know what else to do as I think I set up properly google analytics.  I disable the password but is not working.

Many thanks for your help,

Got the same situation and issue - Analytics snippet does not look valid (UA-xxxx-x)

<!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google Analytics -->
<script async src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=G-FT3KCCZS10"></script>
<script>
window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];
function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}
gtag('js', new Date());

gtag('config', 'G-FT3KCCZS10');
</script>

Working now.

The Universal Analytics property is a part of an earlier version of Google Analytics and only supports web measurement. It is not recommended for new Analytics users, and it will not support app measurement. Turn this on if you'd like to create a Universal Analytics property.

In the property setting select Create a Universal Analytics property only.
