Google Search Screen - Not showing Homepage meta description

Hi all, not sure if this is the best forum for this, but when I search for my website on google, it comes up fine, but it is not showing under the URL what I configured in my Homepage meta description within the preferences in shopify. Rather it seems to be displaying what the newsletter popup displays, as shown in the attached. Some default message.

How long does it normally take for Google to update this, or is there anything I am missing here to get this to show what is setup in my Homepage meta description?

Your store currently doesn't seem to be indexed beyond the home page. Did you just remove the storefront password very recently? It'll usually take a day or two for Google to start indexing the store, submitting the sitemap to Google Search Console might help.

Hi there, 

I have the same problem, Meta Description is replaced by the Newsletter text. I have removed the password on my site (oliandlola.de) a week ago and submitted the sitemap to the Google Search Console. The newsletter text is still there. Should I wait or seek help?
