Help: Removing blank space after header on landing page only - debut theme

Hi there,

I've asked before on how to remove a blank space following the website header, and was given the following code:

div#PageContainer { padding-top: 5!important; }

Problem is, it removed the margins from ALL pages on my website.

Is there a way to remove the white margin ONLY from the landing page? If it helps, I'm using shogun to design my landing page.

Thank you!

If you're using a layout that includes your theme's styling, it's possible that you see some space or a 'gap' between your header and where your content starts. This space is actually a part of your theme's layout.

The following steps can be taken to close that spacing:

1. Click the first element on the page (i.e. a Section or Image)

2. Look for the Margins setting in the Settings section of the right sidebar

3. Disable the "linked axis" option

4. Set a negative margin on the top (i.e. -50px)

You can dive a little further into this super helpful guide Shogun created as well.
