Hide slider for mobile - Motion Theme

Hi,

I'm looking to hide my slider for mobile as it's cropping my picture.

I've seen posts saying I should add some code to Asset->/theme.scss.liquid, I only have Asset->/theme.css.liquid (with no s). So that tutorial hasn't helped. Wondering if this is the problem or is it something to do with the theme I'm using?

Hey @tcb19931234

1. In your Shopify Admin go-to online store > themes > actions > edit code
2. Find Asset > theme.scss.liquid or and paste this at the bottom of the file:

@media only screen and (max-width: 768px){
#shopify-section-1598185155741e {display:none;}
}

Hope this works for you.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply,

Unfortunately it didn't work,

As I said at the start I don't seem to have theme.scss.liquid file i have theme.css.liquid.

Not sure what this means.

Yeah I assumed that's what you meant but doesn't seem to have worked.

Hey @tcb19931234,

Try to put the above code in Assets/theme.css . I double check your site have theme.css in assets folder.

Let me know if this works.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response:

I don't have Assets/theme.css

I have  theme.css.liquid , which didn't work

and also have Assets >  theme.js

This seemed to turn the slider into a loading screen ?

Thanks
