How to Remove Space above Featured Banner in Simple Theme?

I am trying to remove the extra space between my featured image and header (search bar, etc.).  I would like to have my logo on the left "A World of Crypto" flush with both the side menu and feature image. How can I do this?  See attached / link for reference.  Link to site: https://aworldofcrypto.com/

I'm afraid that's not going to be a simple fix without recoding the page completely. The header is actaully a whole container that runs across the top of the whole store.

You could make that fixed and put individual top-paddings on the side navigation and hero image, but would get very messy on other breakpoints.

Have no idea if people have with this particular theme. Do you have an example? Just looking at the markup / structure.

I had similar interest when running that theme and then just caved and switched to supply theme which provided other features as well.

The easier solution on simple theme is to make a banner that stretches the full width and edit the code so it goes 100%. Alternately, leave the logo where it is but have a background the repeats across. I also tried this for a bit, but never seemed to look right.

Hi, you can use this hotfix http://take.ms/0kyKb . This should go at the very bottom of theme.scss.liquid

@media (min-width:1024px){
  .template-index main.main-content{
    margin-top: -100px;
  }
}

Lixon, I added the hotfix to the bottom of the theme.scss.liquid file; however, it doesn't seem to have resolved the matter.  Please see the screenshot:

Lixon, this worked amazingly well on the Simple theme. However, this has only fixed the homepage and not the other web pages (Collections). Is there anything that can be done to fix the other pages too?

Remove the .template-index from the CSS and it should work

@media (min-width:1024px){ main.main-content{ margin-top: -100px; } }
