How to change Supply themes table padding

The spacing on the tables is completely ridiculous. How can I make my tables more space efficient (they take up literally double the space they need to)?

Hello Lisa, Ben here - your Shopify Guru!

  When you say tables do you mean tables you create through the rich text editor? You can style those however you like using css or put the styling inline when creating the table.

Right now the padding should be 15px. you can change this by adding the following to the bottom of your timber.scss.liquid file in the themes assets folder.

th, td {
  padding: 10px;
}

Just change the value of 10px to be whatever you would like. You could also wrap that text in <style> </style> tags and place it in the html of a page you create through the admin as well.

I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions :)

Thanks, this helped with the same spacing issue on the Shopify minimal theme when I made a table. It was twice as wide as it needed to be, and that fixed it!
