How to change background to an image in Brooklyn theme?

Hello,

I would like to change the background to an image on a couple of pages but it's not clear how to go about this?

All previous posts are outdated and unaswered.

I have this in my theme.scss.liquid file but nothing happens.

/*attempt to change background image*/
body.background-class { background-image: url({{'ombretest.jpg' | asset_url }});
-webkit-background-size: cover;
-moz-background-size: cover;
-o-background-size: cover; background-size: cover;
}

Hi I've sorted out the problem and tweaked the design so that it's not necessary to add a background image.
