Image Gallery Resizing

Hello All!

    A newbie to Shopify, and trying to figure out how, using the image gallery, I can create a row of 4 X 4 images of equal size, and centered in page. Even better, want to know if there is a way to create an image gallery of thumbnails that can be expanded when clicked. I assume this all done in CSS but would not know how to do it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would like the pictures on this page to be smaller, and side by side (as opposed to one on top of another), with the option to add more pics if possible. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks! ML

    Not sure what you mean by that question, but if I am correct, you are asking how I would like it to look. Basically, I just want to be able adjust the size and placement of images, and have them displayed in rows, not columns. Hopefully that makes sense! Thx, ML

      Hope all is well. I thought I responded to your last response but it looks like it never went through, Anyway, what you showed is the right idea, but I am trying to have an evenly spaced grid of pics. Something like this: 

It doesn't have to look exactly like that, just something cleaner and evenly spaced. I can change the dimensions of the images based on the dimensions of each square. Does that make sense? Thx!
