Image Size adjustment for slideshow

Hi,

How can I adjust an image size from 1070 x 1071 pixels to 1280 x460 pixels without deforming it so as to fit the slideshow on minimal theme?

It didn't really work as the image still looks good on mobile but cropped on desktop.

Are you sure that you have put the code at  right place?

Yes, I'm sure.

I also deleted it because before putting the code the images looked good on mobile and not on desktop. After putting it, the images didn't look good on both.

Any other solution please?

Thanks but I guess the issue is with the image size itself.
