I'm in the process of creating a new page for my shop, however I've realized I'd prefer for it to be the same layout/style as my home page. I'm currently using the Brooklyn theme with one custom edit in the header.
I wasn't sure if it's easier to find the coding of the home page and build out a new 'custom' one, or is there a way to simply copy and paste the page?
Sorry if there's an obvious answer to this fix!
My name is Anne, on the Guru team. Thanks so much for getting in touch with us on the forums!
The homepage is actually managed by the Store Front Editor, and there isn't a way to duplicate it, I'm sorry! You can create a similar layout though for sure!
I hope this helps and if you need anything else at all please let me know!
If you're not comfortable with editing code than the advice from Anne is perfect, or you might want to consider call in help from an expert.
If you wanted to DIY I could nudge you in the right direction, but would expect that you do most of the heavy lifting.
I am opening my store in the next day or two and I want to re-do some of the look. The App that was recomended is really great but if I could do it without the extra expense that would be much better. I would definitely put in the work if I am guided by one of you guys.
@Philip - If you're needing some help with something specfic I'd suggest that you make a new thread. That way the forum members can answer your questions in a dedicated spot. Also, there's no need to add your email address in the posts as all help is offered publically, so the info can be used by others.
Thanks for post
