Making a page my url home page..

[Erzaa]

Hey, I created a page in onlinestore > pages. I want to make that page the default page so that when someone goes to my url for example: erzaa.com it takes them to that page. Can I do that? If so, how?

Hey there Erzaa!

Genevieve from Shopify here :) 

You can make a specific page your homepage by following the guide here:
https://docs.shopify.com/manual/configuration/store-customization/page-specific/welcome-page/turn-yo...

Basically, you just need to pop into your HTML/CSS editor (Admin>Online Store>Themes>[...]>Edit HTML/CSS) and replace your index.liquid with the code for the page you want to appear as your homepage.

Where the above guide tells you to add {% assign page = pages.frontpage %} to the top of that index.liquid file, replace "frontpage" with the name of the page you want to appear on your homepage instead.

hi Genevieve,

I want to make another page as home page. I am using shopify's furnimart theme. As you mentioned replace {% assign page = pages.frontpage %} this code with specific page name, but I didnt find this type of code.

In my index.liquid I have following code,

<div class="index-section--flush powr-popup" id="b722cc43_1612413414"></div> <div class="index-section--flush powr-image-slider" id="53406981_1610687257"></div> {{ content_for_index }}

Do you have any idea , how can I change this to make any another page as home page ?
