Making images sit next to each other on one line

Hi, I've added 2 gifs to the bottom of my pages, a papay logo and google checkout logo. However I'd like them to sit alongside each other on one line above my footer. Could anyone tell me how to acheive this please? I'd also like to lose the big areas of white space between the paragraph and the logos and also beneath the girls legs... Any idea how to do this as well? Thanks in advance! *http://www.keepcalmandcarryon.com*

Easiest, wrap it with a table.

<table width="100% border="0">
  <tr>
    <td>
        paypal code
    </td>
    <td>
        google code
    </td>
  </tr>
</table>

For that matter a paragraph would have done it (I hate tables)...

Looks now like you’re using a composite graphic. There’s a div called
#content-padding
which is giving you the white space below the girl’s legs.

It looks like it also has a ‘clearing’ function. Without trying it I don’t know what would happen if you took it out completely, though I suspect the footer might start to misalign.

You could reduce the height to 1px in the shop.css

#content-padding {
clear:both;
height:1px; /* needs 1px to clear */
}

Cheers
