Making venture theme full width product descriptions

Tried this in our store to make the product description full width. It works in laptop. But in mobile, first character is getting cut off. Could anyone please help? Thanks!

When putting the code before the last </div>, there was lot of extra space before the description. I had to put the code before the last 2 </div> tags to make it work on desktop.  However in phone, first character is getting cut off. Can someone help? Thanks.

Did anyone ever get an answer on how to fix the first character on the left being cut off on mobile? I'm having the same issue.
