Modular Theme - Three Image panels on homepage with links and text?

I am trying to make a three panel section on the homepage in the Modular theme.

The goal is to have three images in a row, with some text on each image, and each image has a link to a page. In Mobile version the images would stack.

Any help?

(I know enough html to be dangerous, I tired some html but did not work, some issue with the css.liquid)

For some reason I can not use a URL redirect on a collection either.

To make what I have now work I need to either, change links in the "Collection List" section on home page to go to an anchor on the home page, OR somehow use a URL redirect from the collection URL to the anchor on the home page.

The backup option I have is to figure out how to do it in Shogun.

I found a different way to do this!

Using the "mosaic" section on the home page I can link to anchors on the home page.

The only issue is that the second picture must have some text for the link to work. I just put a "." as the text.
