Moving Featured Products

I am trying to adjust my featured products around on my homepage because I just want to sell two things and have a very minimal site. I am using the Minimal theme and want to move the title and description below the featured product image, as well as move the second featured product up and next to the first featured product. I am decent with the liquid coding just do not understand the way pages are split into columns and how to adjust objects within them. I am attaching an image to better explain what I am trying to do.

In defult theme this section is divided in two parts one for image and one for other info.
As this is the block you need customization to display two products in one row.
This can be done by two ways: 
1. Theme customizaton

2. CSS
