regarding the CC fees.. 

I was thinking about the Shopify transactional fee when using third party payment gateways, which is neccesary for us in some of the countries we sell too..

So.. its the fee of eith er.5, 1 or 2% depending on the plan  ?

That sounds good and seems like it makes sense for you to look into. 

 

To avail of the discount, all stores need to be set up and active, with a plan selected and credit card on file. Once they are set up, I can send it up to our financial services team who will look into the discount for you then. You can reply to me here once you have the stores set up and we can move the discussion to a private email to verify some details and continue the process for you. In your reply if you could let me know the best email to reach you in and if it's the one you signed up to the community with then I can email you at that address. 

 

Regarding your question about the transaction fees. If you are using a third-party payment gateway (not Shopify Payments) there will more than likely be a transaction fee. You can see what the fees are in the screenshot below or from the pricing page here

So - moving forward new instances created for new shops would then have to be forwarded to finances whenever we open up a new country/currency?

 

I undetstand the fee structure as you inserted.. i was just wondering if the fee% was calculated on the total sales volume for all the dupliacted stores, and based on the highest store plan, e.g. 299, would mean .5% charge.. if this .5% would be applicabel also on the cloned stores where we only pay the 29 ?

Hi @MichDav,

 

No problem at all. Yes, for every store you opened down the line you would need to reach out to the financial services team and go through the same review process. 

 

Regarding the transaction fee's, the discount works where the discounted stores have the features of the higher plan but are charged at the lower price. For example, if your main store is on the $79 Shopify plan, which has a 1% transaction fee, then all their other stores with the discount will have the same transaction fee as that store and it would just be the plan which will be charged on the lower price of basic $29.

Hello Nick,

Our company is in a similar position, and we would like to receive the discount you mention. 

Currently, we have 1 live store at jewelup.lt and we are in the process of launcing 2 additional stores .lv and .ee - the Baltic states. The stores are identical, same products, same content, same everything even price (in EURO), only the language will differ. All 3 Shopify accounts have been created by me and all are paid for using the same credit card.

 

How do I apply for the discount?
