We are about to publish our site www.bagratica.com for designer inspired women handbags.
We would like to receive the opinion of the Shopify community regarding overall look of our website's design,
navigation. We would like you to check our FAQ and also About Us sections.
I really like the design, it looks completely professional and therefore more trustworthy -- I wouldn't feel sketchy about ordering from here.
Your FAQ page is designed kind of weird. Shouldn't be using HTML entities like to make space on the sides of stuff. If anything use padding, and I wouldn't do it for the numbers, I'd do it for the information under each number. I'd also make the font size bigger, at least on desktop.
When you are on the FAQ page, if you resize to a mobile view the search bar appears at the top of the page. While this isnt a problem, when you scroll it sticks to the top of the page and overlaps the faq:
Also, again after resizing to mobile, sometimes your menu appears empty:
When you hover your cart, a cart preview comes up, but as soon as you leave the cart button, the menu slides up. It should stay open while hovering the menu, or else there's no way to get to your cart as the button doesnt even link. I can get it to stay open if I move the mouse really fast, but I shouldnt have to do that.
About Us is again, kind of small on desktop. I have trouble reading it. I think some alternating imagery would be nice with some of the points you make. Or maybe one nice image for your background image. See https://www.morphe.com/pages/about-the-brand -- This may not work with your menu, but all I'm saying right now is it just looks bland and I don't think it really reveals anything about your brand that isn't spelled out. It doesn't say "Luxury Products at a Low Price Point" to me, even though it basically spells that out, it doesnt feel that way.
I don't like how your menu is hover instead of click on desktop, and the fact that it turns to an X after I hover it confuses me because it feels like I should click it to close it, but I actually have to move my mouse off of it. And again, if you resize your window after desktop loads, the menu appears behind everything:
Thats my 2 cents. I really like your design though, some of these things can be easily fixed and I think you'll have real good success with your site.
I certainly can fix a couple, others I don't really know what's going on behind the scenes so I'd have to take a look but Im pretty positive I can fix everything I pointed out. I might actually change the way that mobile menu functions, I don't like how it just JUMPS out at you and pushes the content over. It also takes you to the top of the webpage everytime you click it, but all of that is up to you really.
