I am wondering if there is a Notepad++ extension that will make Liquid code colored correctly in the text editor? I did a google search and came up empty handed. (It could be the "++" that throws google off... hmm) Anyway for Windows XP, what text editors do you guys use for Liquid that does all the proper highlighting of keywords and page elements? And better if its for notepad++ since that text editor is awesome 8-) Thanks BigSend http://shopifymax.com http://lightingideal.com http://mydrupaladventures.com

I would recommend e – text editor from http://www.e-texteditor.com/ which supports TextMate bundles such as the Liquid bundle. I’m using the Liquid bundle in TM on my Mac and it’s indispensible. e is an awesome product, and well worth the price.

Where do I download this bundle for E?

Are there any special instructions or tips for setting this bundle up in E?

Thanks

i use notepad++ too, which i find excellent. so far, i haven’t had highlighting for liquid, which is a little off-putting, but thanks to your question, i just realized you can customize your syntax highlighting – check out “user-defined syntax highlighting”.

Or you could create a user defined language file for notepad++ that you could share with others... "Create a user defined language for notepad++":http://weblogs.asp.net/jgalloway/archive/2006/11/25/creating-a-user-defined-language-in-notepad.aspx
