We'd like to be able to display the fulfilled/backordered items on some of our invoices. {{ line_item.successfully_fulfilled_quantity }} seems to be made with this in mind but it is returning no value

{% for line_item in line_items %}
{{ line_item.title }}
<br>
quantity:{{ line_item.quantity }}
<br>
quantity fulfilled: {{ line_item.successfully_fulfilled_quantity }}
<br>
{% endfor %}

 Returns

Product title
quantity:1
quantity fulfilled:

Shopify support has been no help. I've managed to find one other unresolved thread here with the same issue from last year and an unresolved post on stack exchange from 2017.

Thanks,

bumping this as I have run in to the same issue. This is a very useful value for some people. Why does {{line_item.successfully_fulfilled_quantity}}  not return any result? any work around?

Customer places order for 3 x item

I fulfill 2 x item

next order printer would have both of these variables and should spit out 2 and 1 respectively:

{{line_item.successfully_fulfilled_quantity}}

({ line_item.fulfillable_quantity }}

This is an accepted solution.

This is what I ended up using

{{ line_item.quantity | minus: line_item.fulfillable_quantity }}
