Price on Request

Greetings!

I would like to have the option for customers to be able to view products with 0.00 price to read Price on Request. I do not want this for all products just the ones I select. I can imagine this is a fairly standard requirement for stores who do not want to display all of their prices. Such as those stores that make items by special commission etc. and so I am surprised that this option is not already built in when editing the product.

Is there a simple fix for this?

You can create alternate templates for those specific products. Instead of `Add to Cart` button, you can place a link to Contact Form. Refer https://help.shopify.com/themes/customization/store/create-alternate-templates

I have seen that this post is quite old. Nevertheless we had the same request and have written down what we have done, see price-on-request form in the Shopify Narrative Theme. Maybe it is helpful to someone who stumbles on this post.
