Proceed to Checkout not working

Hey guys,

So whenever multiple items are being added to my cart (and in some cases, even when single items are added), the proceed to checkout button from the cart is not working. When you click it, nothing happens.
I got to know about this when one of my customers pointed it out, and I suspect that this has been the reason because of which I have been having so many abandoned carts.

my website is www.ezizum.com

I will be thankful if this issue can be resolved asap as this is causing a major hinderance in my online operations.

Hi purpleinc,

I just had a quick look at your site and it looks to me as though it might be caused by an app that you have installed. Do you have a pre-order app installed or something similar that may be causing the issue?

A good option might be to test again without the app installed since it looks like there could be an error on the app's server or perhaps it's not set up properly.

Hope that helps!

Josh

Hey purpleinc,

There is JS conflict which prevent button to perform its action.
To fix it first try to revert all changes you did in last days. If its still not fixed then you have to manually check JS code or you can hire someone to fix it.
Because its not possible to fix it without theme access.

Want to modify or custom changes on store hire me.

Hey, thank you for your reply!

No, I don't have any pre-order app installed. However, I did have one
installed several months ago that I later uninstalled. Could it be that
there is some code of the old app that is still tinkering with it?

Hi @purpleinc,

Hyde here from Shopify.

I completely understand how frustrating that would be!

There are a couple of factors that need to be considered before tackling your cart issue:

1) What theme are you using?
2) Have you made any edits to the code?
3) Are you using a third-party app that could be injecting code into the cart?

If it is a third-party theme you are using, you would be best off contacting the theme developers directly. You can do this by going to Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme Settings and scrolling to the bottom. The theme developers and their support line will be listed there.

If you or a developer have made edits to the theme code, you may need to roll them back by going to Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit Code and then roll back the code:

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, I'm happy to help.

All the best, Hyde.
