Product Price is reading 0 when no option selected

Hi, i am building my first store and plan to be live in a couple of days, however i have come across a little problem and its niggling away at me and i don’t t want to be launching the site until i am completely happy. I am using the narrative free shopify theme and i have 1 item with 3 variants, all variants are the same price. Upon testing the site throughout building it i realised that the featured image was not being selected, i fixed this by adjusting line of code from product-template.liquid

assign current_variant =product.selected_or_first_available_variant

to

assign current_variant = product.selected_variant

This worked for adjusting it to the main featured image however price of product is displaying $0 because no option is automatically selected, all my variants are the same price so i dont need a range i just want it to display $14.99 when no option is selected instead of $0

if anyone could help that would be most appreciated

Hi ,

You will need to adapt the code from the tutorial and / or the product detail tamplate to use this

{{ product.price_min }}

Alternatively, you can look to

<script type="application/json" id="ProductJson-product-template">
// all your product variant data as JSON
</script>

and do it entirely client side.

Hope this helps
