Redesign Product Drop Down Menu in Brooklyn Theme

Hello, i am doing categories in my shopify store, however i would like to customize two main things. First rather than being a vertical dropdown menu (Brooklyn Theme), if it is possible to make it a wide menu for all the categories and subcategories as well. Image 01 represents what my drop down menu looks like now, and image 02 represents an example of what i would like it to be 

Image 01 | Current State 

Image 02 | Preferable 

Also, if it is possible to change the fonts of the drop down menu, with bold alegreya for main headings and normal one for all other items in the dropdown menu,

Not sure how to do that, I have deleted the app - can you please tell what the code is and where to add it. Also would like to add my newsletter to the footer...
