Reduce space between sections/vertically align text

Hi!

I've got two questions. The first one refers to the space between the sections (they are all 'picture with text' sections). I saw answers here but they referred to the very section name of the user and i was unable to apply this to my case. 

Ideally I wanted to use 'personalized content' sections with code instead of the 'picture with text' option but i noticed that the image gets very small in mobile view, is there anything i can do against that? And, finally, I would like to vertically center text in the html part of the 'personalized content' sections. I tried vertically-align but that didn't work.
