You can check your article fine by following by general method:

1. Sections->article-template.liquid->find article__author and remove or comment this span.

Or you have to find it by following.

Template->article.liquid -> find which section you have added.

Hello,

I would like to remove the author's name as well. I CTRL-Find the article_author field. Am I supposed to delete this whole paragraph below? I previewed it by deleting the below paragraph and I still see the author name on the blog post page and blog summary page:

<div class="section-header text-center">
<h1 class="article__title" id="title-0">{{ article.title }}</h1>
{% if section.settings.blog_show_author %}
<span class="article__author">{{ 'blogs.article.by_author' | t: author: article.author }}</span>
{% endif %}

{% if section.settings.blog_show_date %}
<span class="article__date">
{{ article.published_at | time_tag: format: 'date' }}
</span>
{% endif %}
</div>

Or am I only supposed to delete a section of the above code?

Thank you!

Leida

You can comment/remove that part;

{% if section.settings.blog_show_author %}
      <span class="article__author">{{ 'blogs.article.by_author' | t: author: article.author }}</span>
{% endif %}

Thanks for your reply. I removed that small section of the code and clicked preview and the author name still shows. I noticed that in the preview it says "You’re previewing: Debut Last saved today at 6:00 pm PDT". This was last saved a few hours ago. The preview is not showing the new changes. Do you know why? I tried to refresh the page.
