Remove boundless variant images from product page

I am using Boundless and like the theme overall. The only thing I don't like about it is the layout of the product pages.

Is it possible to make it show only the currently selected variant's image instead of filling the page with them?

This product has 8 variants. I have added them all as a separate products because the screen is filled with 8 massive images of they are entered as one.
