Remove white gap between elements Debut Theme

I have changed the color of my header to match the image below, but there is a white line that runs between them. How do I remove this in the Debut theme?

Hi! It's not published yet, but the store name is Handsome Zack's Records. I am in the process of moving from another service provider. I attempted to remove it by using other code instructions I found here, but it wasn't for this theme and it didn't make any visible changes.

can you please try this code

1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2. Asset->/theme.css ->paste below code at the bottom of the file.

.index-section {
    padding-top: 30px;
    padding-bottom: 30px;
}

That line is still there...

I also tried applying your code to a previous version that where I did not change the code (in my original post), same result.
